A Squirrel with a Red Belly is an autobiographical work written in the form of graphic novel. I explored the issue of cultural displacement through the little squirrel’s exploration in estranged landscape.

Did you know that all the squirrels in Taiwan have a red belly?

I was shocked when I first saw the white-bellied squirrel here in America.

I felt so different.

I thought everyone was staring at my tummy.

But maybe I'm just being oversensitive...
